Haryana News : Attack on STF team in Ambala, accused held hostage and beat them
In Ambala, Haryana, some people held hostage and beat up the Karnal STF team. The STF team had gone here to interrogate the accused in the case of illegal arms supply and during this time the team was held hostage and beaten up. The Dial 112 team reached the spot and rescued the police personnel.
The STF team had received this information
Balwan Singh told in the police complaint that he is appointed as a researcher in the Karnal STF unit. His higher officials had received information that a person living in Barada, against whom many cases have been registered earlier, is involved in the supply of illegal weapons
So on September 14, he along with his fellow employees ASI Satnam Singh and Randeep Singh had reached to interrogate Dalip alias Vicky, a resident of Barada. During this, when his team went to the house built above a country liquor shop, he introduced himself to Vicky present there and also showed his identity card.
Accused Vicky attacked with a knife
After this, when his team started questioning Vicky on the basis of the information received, then within a short time his sons Happy, Prince, Manav, Om and landlord Kushal Pal Chauhan also came there and gathered a lot of people there.
During this time Vicky suddenly attacked him with a knife, but he somehow saved his life. After this, his colleague ASI Randeep also came up from downstairs after hearing the noise and started making a video with his mobile, then Vicky’s son Happy snatched ASI Randeep Singh’s mobile phone and threw it away.
The accused locked the gate
Balwan Singh further told that during this scuffle, the accused also tried to snatch his pistol. Along with this, Vicky also threatened to implicate his team in false allegations and also stabbed himself with a knife several times. After this, Prince, Manav, Happy and Kushal Pal forcibly took Vicky away from there.
When Balwan Singh’s team tried to stop them, the accused Happy locked the gate below the house from outside and took the STF team hostage.
After this, ASI Randeep Singh and ASI Satnam Singh called for police assistance, then the local police and Dial 112 reached the spot and they were taken out from there by breaking the lock.
